Alloptic is a leader in fiber-to-the-premise networking equipment. The company's Optical Network Units receive an IP signal from a fiber network and then translate the PON Ethernet packets back to traditional service facilities for use in the home or business. Alloptic provides multiple ONU models with various capacities and port configurations to allow operators to deliver the best and most cost effective communications solutions for each location on the network. Coaxsys' TVnet enables Alloptic to extend its distribution reach: IP packets can be distributed throughout homes or offices on existing coaxial wiring instead of requiring costly and lengthy CAT-5 rewiring.
