Board of Directors
John Morelli - Chairman
John founded Coaxsys in 2002. In 1998, John founded Nuron, Inc., a company that developed the e-commerce industry's fastest hardware encryption solution, and served as its President and CEO until its sale to Intel in February, 2001. He then was the Director of Technology for the Network Equipment Division of Intel from February 2001 to July 2002, when he left to start the Company. He holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of West Florida, and an M.S. in Theoretical Physical Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame.
Jeffrey Bernel - Director
American Rubber Products Corporation's Chairman of the Board. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. From 1980 through 1996, Mr. Bernel held the offices of Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the American Rubber Products Corporation of LaPorte, IN. He has extensive experience in the original equipment manufacturer markets both nationally and internationally. In 1998, Mr. Bernel joined the Gigot Center for Entrepreneurial Studies at the University of Notre Dame as Co-Director, Professional Specialist where he is also a faculty member in the Department of Management and teaches undergraduate level courses in corporate strategy and entrepreneurship, along with an M.B.A. - level course in entrepreneurship. Mr. Bernel was also the Chairman of the Board of Nuron from mid-1999 to 2001. In addition to Coaxsys, he currently serves on the boards of American Rubber Products Corp., Bremen Castings, Inc., and Racetown, LLC.
Brian Brady - Director
Brian Brady, Director Mr. Brady is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame. He has held several senior positions in the recreational vehicle industry, including President and CEO of Damon Corporation, and Chairman of Heartland Recreational Vehicles. In addition, Mr. Brady has served on the Board of Directors and on the Executive Committee of Recreational Vehicle Industry Association. Brian was also a Director of Nuron prior to its acquisition by Intel.
Jerrold F. Petruzzelli - Director and Secretary
Mr. Petruzzelli is a partner in the Palo Alto office of the national law firm of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP. He has practiced law at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP since 1999. Previously he was a partner in the Palo Alto law firm of Wise & Shepard, LLP, which merged into Manatt, Phelps & Phillips in 1999. Mr. Petruzzelli practices corporate securities, venture capital, and high technology law representing a variety of technology corporations, public companies, and venture capital funds, Mr. Petruzzelli serves as a Board member or Secretary of several private high technology companies. He holds a JD from The University of Chicago and a B.A. from Yale University. He is a Member of the Washington State Bar Association and the State Bar of California.
